Jeannette von Wolfersdorff

She studied Administration in the RWTH Aachen University, specialized in Finance and Cooperation with Developing Countries. Since 2015 she is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Observatory of Fiscal Expenditure (Observatorio Gasto Fiscal) in Chile and since 2018 she is an advisor to the Permanent Advisory Council for the Modernization of the State. Since January 2020 she is Board Member of Espacio Público.

Between 2017 and 2019 she served as President of the Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee of the Santiago Stock Exchange, becoming the first woman to serve on its board since its foundation in 1893. She was also President of the Civil Society Council (COSOC) of ChileCompra.

She was also the founder of the Index of Transparency in Political Parties in Chile Transparente (2013- 2015) and participated in the management of the Single Law on Donations through the Community of Solidarity Organizations (2011- 2015).

Jeannette also worked at Fundación Contexto Ciudadano, where she promoted denominations of origin in Chile. In total, the following were successfully registered with the National Institute of Intellectual Property (INAPI): Juan Fernández Lobster, Juan Fernández Golden Crab, Easter Island Tuna, Cahuil Salt, Dulces de la Ligua, Pomaire Pottery, Quinchamalí Pottery, Doñihue Mantas and Azapa Olives – in a joint effort with the respective producer associations.

Between 2009 and 2011 she was the Director-Treasurer of the National Federation of Tourism, and was awarded as Entrepreneur of the Year by the National Chamber of Commerce.
